Shaken & Co may be a new business but we are certainly not new to the industry!
We draw on our wealth of 25 years experience in the Wedding and Hospitality Industry we know exactly what it takes to make your event perfect. We all came together with a mutual love of events to create a new mobile bar company that offers a fun and friendly bar experience.
We believe anything is possible. Don’t be shy with your ideas we will help you bring them to life. We are based in York but we cover all areas of the UK so ‘cheers’ to that.

Natalie is our whirlwind. 100 miles an hour. Always thinking outside the box. Corporate events through and through with international experience on a different level but still loves a good old soppy wedding. Worryingly still can’t decide what side of the road she should be driving on and don’t even mention roundabouts! There’s never a NO in Nat’s vocabulary, always going the extra mile to create the ultimate events. Red wine lover, hates the cold and is often seen with her winter coat on in the summer. Natalie definitely brings that Va Va Voom to any event.

Maria’s problem? Every bottle of gin is her favourite bottle of gin. No, she’s not an alcoholic but she loves gin bottles and anything that comes in them is just a refreshing bonus. Its her eye for eclectic design for gin bottles and for everything else that helps you to put those little touches onto your event that you never even knew you needed. The nuts and bolts as some say. Maria is that typical mother-like figure that you’d rather leave out of the equation if possible to save yourself the questions but you know you’re going to need them and things will run much better with them on board. So here she is, ready to help.
Confessions:
Takes 20 minutes to make a cuppa.
Can’t take her anywhere without seeing somebody she knows.

Our Dan - where to start! Always starts the conversation with “Have you seen this really cool bar” and before you know he’s drawing images and ideas on napkins. Although he is the baby of the team it dosen’t stop the mums and grans taking a shine to him. Lover of fine wines and a cheeky Espresso Martini when no one is looking he certainly knows his way around bars and loves a logistical challenge. His second job is bedazzling shoes. Apparently he can also play the sax but we think he’s made that up otherwise we would be booking him out for events as “A Man with a Sax”.

Our Director of Cocktails #FastestShaker
Tom or Thomas when he’s in trouble. Top priority at any event is to immediately make friends with the catering company. Once he’s fed he works his magic. Amazing at cocktails but doesn’t like the glass washing side. Lover of throwing objects around with no concept if the receiving party has any catching ability. Depending on how good his hair is he’s always in a hat. Everything he eats looks amazing although very messy. Nothing he doesn’t now about alcohol and very particular about that pinky finger on the shakers. Can get you to any event in record time but you might not have any nails left!

The Man Behind the Money #HowMuchWillThatCost
Keith will always ask for forgiveness and never for permission. Nine times out of ten his first words are ‘how much will that costs us?’. He’s our man behind the money, and keeper of all things serious. Most of the time, he brings us back down to reality but don’t be fooled, he is just as mad as the rest of us. His favourite cocktail is an Old Fashioned and you can ask him almost anything about wine. Worked across many events in different continents, he is our worldly business advisor and believes anything is possible.

What would we do without these two! These are the guys that we throw all our ideas to. They always look like they are listening and do a lot of nodding and eyebrow movement like they understand our ideas and vision. When you’ve finally finished your ideas they start the conversations with “Really” and that although they have your vision it’s sometimes not as easy as we think - but they always come up trumps for us. They like to humour us a lot but can be easily bribed, or they are likely to block us. These two are our super hero’s but sometimes they don’t like us.
